I\u2019m constantly on the hunt for easy-to-make (and share!) recipes that don\u2019t require a million supplies to look party perfect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">This led me to one of the newest trends: cake-sicles. Yes, cake \u2009\u2014\u2009 in a popsicle mold, which means you can form it into any type of adorable mold you can get your hands on, like this paw-themed mold you might remember from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dogster.com\/dog-food\/perfectly-pumpkin-paw-psicles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">our Pup-sicle recipe<\/a>! I love multi-purposing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>What you\u2019ll need:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Your favorite boxed cake and<br \/>\nwhatever ingredients it requires<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">\u00a0Icing\u2009 \u2014\u2009store bought is fine<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Candy melts or chocolate in your<br \/>\nfavorite holiday color<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">A silicone popsicle mold<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Popsicle stick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Directions:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"p2\">Bake your cake as instructed.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Once it\u2019s cool, place the cake in a food processor or mixer and blend, adding a tablespoon or two of icing at a time. Pulse or mix until the cake and icing start to come together in a smooth ball. Add icing as needed \u2014<br \/>\nit really doesn\u2019t require too much.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Melt your candy melts.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Pour a little bit of chocolate into the mold and spread around until it is fully coated on all sides. You want it thick enough to create a barrier \u2014 but make sure to leave room for the cake!<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Let the chocolate harden, then fill the mold with cake, leaving a little room to add more chocolate.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Add the popsicle stick.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Pour more melted chocolate on top of the cake, and allow it to harden.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\">Pull the pop out of the mold.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p4\">Package them in a cellophane bag with some holiday ribbon or serve at your holiday party with a note \u2014 for humans only.
