Dwarf rabbits are not necessarily the smallest breed of rabbits. These are mainly hybrids of certain breed and dwarf rabbits can be characterized by a small head and low carriage. Ideally, the dwarf rabbits weigh around 2 pounds and possess short and perky ears. They are 2 inches long and are generally round and compact. Shoulders and hindquarters of a dwarf rabbit should be of the same width. Dwarf rabbits have a coat of short to medium length hair and are available in many colors.
